Dunlop is a master of Chinese cookery. This new book explores the cuisine of the Jiangnan region which includes Shanghai. Don't be intimidated, these recipes are user friendly. Some recipes that are in my regular rotation include fried noodles with dried shrimp (optional) and scallion oil, leftover rice omelet and breakfast tofu. Her recipes all have a true taste and you'll be amazed as to how quickly a meal comes together.
